Second book in the Collaborative Writing Playbook series

I am thrilled to share that the second book in Joe Moses and my collaborative writing playbook series, titled Writing to Learn in Teams: A Collaborative Writing Playbook for Students Across the Curriculum, has just been released by Parlor Press. Check out publisher’s page for a preview of the book and pricing.

This project is a continuation of Joe and my journey in documenting useful strategies for managing collaborative writing projects in college education. We employ design thinking and agile project management principles to create a flexible framework for students to practice collaboration. We are excited to write this student-facing resource after our successful first book that aimed at teaching educators how to design collaborative writing assignments. We hope you will consider adopting this new release to help students facilitate more meaningful collaboration in and outside the classroom.

As I noted in the acknowledgments, writing is never a solo activity for me. My colleagues, students, family, and pets are a huge part of my writing, and their everyday experiences inspire and motivate me. It is this experience that keeps me grounded in ongoing research and scholarship.

Onward!
